The National Pharmacy Association

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) was established in 1921 as the trade association of community pharmacy owners. To reflect the changes in the pharmacy environment, the NPA now extends membership and its associated benefits to all members of the community pharmacy sector.

The Association ensures relevant and proactive support is available to its members assisting them in the successful alignment of their professional and commercial objectives.

The NPA plays an important role in advising pharmacists on all aspects of pharmacy practice and provides comprehensive insurance for its members to safeguard the public should things go wrong. The NPA also has an important role in helping pharmacists develop, implement and promote additional pharmacy services.

All pharmacists who are members of the NPA have available to them a wealth of expertise and information to improve their services to their communities. The NPA provides a variety of training resources for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy sales assistants to further improve the quality and safety of pharmacy services available to the public.

All ABC Pharmacy stores are members of the NPA, this ensures that all ABC pharmacists have the facilities of the NPA services available to them. ABC Pharmacy are able to obtain reliable and accurate information when resolving queries raised by customers.
