If you have a regular prescription and live near an ABC Pharmacy in London you could save
time by arranging for our pharmacy staff to order and collect your prescription on your behalf.
In some cases your surgery may ask you where you would like your prescription sent for
dispensing or you may be able to ask the surgery to pass your prescription directly to your
local ABC Pharmacy.
You will be asked to sign a consent form to confirm that you have given your pharmacist or
pharmacy staff the authority to collect your prescription on your behalf.
Some Doctor’s surgeries have an agreement whereby your pharmacy is allowed to keep your
prescription request form on file. Simply make one phone call to your local pharmacy who
will order your required prescription items, collect the prescription when it is ready and
dispense it. Simply pop in and collect the dispensed medicines at your convenience.
We operate our Prescription Collection service according to strict guidelines set down
by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, safeguarding patient confidentiality
and security of the prescriptions.
ABC pharmacies also keep a daily record of prescriptions collected from surgeries to
provide a record of all collections.
Unfortunately we can only offer this service from local surgeries at present, and only
those which participate in the scheme. However, in the near future we should be able to
expand the service when electronic prescribing is made available.

added this service.
If you find it difficult to get to the pharmacy and you live locally you can have your
prescription delivered to your door by using the ABC Pharmacy
Prescription Delivery Service.
